Central Green’s Back to School Glow Party Benefits Local Charities

What:  Get ready to head back to school and give back at the same time! Willow Fork Drainage District’s Central Green is celebrating back to school with a free, family-friendly, fun Glow Party! The festivities will include YouTube teen sensations Nick and the Groove, glow characters, and much more. Plus, local charities will be onsite to accept donations for students of all ages.

When: Saturday, August 10, 2019 – 6:30-9 p.m.

Where: Willow Fork Drainage District Central Green, 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd Katy, TX 77494 (located inside LaCenterra Shopping Center)

Join friends at Central Green for some back-to-school fun with Nick and the Groove, who have received national attention for their cover rendition of the song “Barracuda” by the band Heart, Manners Magic and Comedy, face painting, and Silver Lynx Arts, who will light up the night with exquisite characters and hand out glow items to the first 200 kids.

Katy Christian Ministries Crisis Center, Clothed by Faith and Underpants Fairy also will be on hand to accept donations of new teddy bears, throw blankets, underwear and clothes for students of all ages.

Evan George Vourazeris from the hit Netflix show “Ozark” will also make an appearance and sign autographs.

Central Green offers a variety of year-round activities and events for all to enjoy. From watching your favorite movie outdoors to listening to memorable bands or viewing local artists’ work, there is something for everyone.
