YOGA on the Green – Wed

Samantha Walker is a 500-hour yoga alliance certified teacher and yoga teacher trainer. She has been teaching and practicing yoga since 2010 and she has taught all over Houston, TX at various gyms and studios since 2012.
Her practice is strongly rooted in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga through the Pattabhi Jois, David Williams, and Jonny Kest lineage. She teaches many different styles of yoga such as Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and also Anapana Meditation. In her classes, her goal is to guide students inward and encourage them to listen to their bodies. She believes that the more we can deeply listen and respond to our own needs and healing, the more we can be of service to others.
Yoga classes will be held every Wed and Friday at 8am and another class starting at 9:15am. Please check with your doctor before participating in these or any other exercise classes. Don’t forget to bring your mat, a towel, and a bottle of water. Be ready to move!
