Points North Theatre presents HAMLET, the popular play written by William Shakespeare, taking the Central Green stage at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13. HAMLET is the tragic tale of murder, madness, and revenge. Norwegian Prince Hamlet learns that his uncle Claudius has killed his father and married his mother. Spurred on by his father’s ghost, Hamlet decides to feign madness and plot revenge on Claudius. As the madness becomes more real, no one is spared from devastating heartbreak and death. Director Jonathan Minchew-Gonzalez has given a modern twist to this timeless tale.
This production is free and open to the public. While all ages are welcome, certain adult themes encourage small children to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
